B.A.R.C. works towards this aim by both awareness-raising activities, e.g., public meetings, and non-violent direct actions. All B.A.R.C. activities are legal.

B.A.R.C. has proved an effective network, achieving real success: Brighton Dolphinarium CLOSED after consistent campaigns over a number of years. Almost constant demonstrations, leafleting and public meetings dissuaded potential customers as they discovered the plight of the many dolphins that had died there in the name of entertainment and profit. Members of B.A.R.C. worked closely with dolphin experts involved in securing the removal and REHABILITATION OF THE DOLPHINS INTO THE WILD.
